Basically I need your help.

So for my media assignment I have to watch 6 episodes of Dexter but I am not sure what the different ideologies or beliefs are represented in the show.

Basically what I need to know is:

the main themes explored in Dexter
how they are presented
what season to look at. (I only need 6 episodes)
any sources? I am really struggling to find some

I don’t know what’s up with the other mods, but I don’t really have a ton of time to make stuff for tumblr right now (plus tumblr’s new way of posting freezes up my computer a lot, which makes me not want to post), but I will try to make a few today.

A few people have expressed interest (anonymously) in making stuff for us. If you are interested in helping out here, know photoshop, and can participate here frequently, make a confession graphic and submit it un-anon and I will choose some of you to add as mods. There is even a psd you can download on the submission page that can help you out.

Yvonne Strahovski is officially returning to Dexter for the show’s eighth season.

The actress is set to reprise her role in a multi-episode arc this summer as Hannah McKay, the gorgeous killer florist. Last season, the Hannah became Dexter’s twisted love interest and a major thorn in his side. When we last saw her in the seventh season finale, Hannah had escaped from prison, and Dex was seemingly lucky to get away from her. “We both knew it would come to this, one of us dead or behind bars,” Dexter said. With Hannah returning, we suspect this time one of them (or both?) won’t escape so easily.

costume fittings and pre-prod are ON. in other pre production news, i’ve seen some pics of the lot that i can’t share, but they’re getting things rolling. shooting begins feb 11.

oh boy, i can guess what that means… this is gonna be interesting.

AND THE DVDS ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO HAVE MORE THAN JUST THE EPISODES OMG. it’s about time they had extra content!!!!!!

No it was really boring in my own opinion and predictable. The acting in it was great though ~~(except Yvonne)~~. I didn’t like this season overall though. -Sophie
